There I sat
Not happy but content
Not angry but disappointed
Not sad but depressed
Not great but fine
Not horrible but bad
Not dizzy but light-headed
Not lonely but single
Not confused but baffled
Not crying but tearful
Not patient but anxious

There I sat
with my heart in content
but disappointed at myself.
Depressed about certain aspects
but fine all the while
Life seemed bad
which made me light-headed.
Not about being single
but about being baffled.
I was slightly tearful
and anxious for things to get going
